Rainfall Totals From Monday's Storm...

Monday's (12/9/2009) storm system brought with it a substantial amount of rain for the region. For us here at the Neon Desert Weather site it was the most rain to fall in one system since February 6th of this year!

Here are some totals from around the region:

East Las Vegas (Neon Desert Weather) 0.23"
NW Las Vegas near US95 and Summerlin Pkwy 0.41"
Rhodes Ranch 0.18"
Desert Breeze Park area .041"
215 and Lone Mountain Park area 0.51"
Henderson Robindale and Pecos Rd .024"
Mesquite 0.58"
Mccarran International Airport (Official NWS reading) 0.28"
North Las Vegas Airport 0.46"

So far this year the official total recorded at Mccarran is 1.58 inches of rain. The total here at our station has been 1.27 inches.
